Lisheen P3

This young bull is growing well with a current ADG of 0.4 Kg/day under reasonably tough paddock conditions.   He is showing good structure and should grow into a good, well muscled bull.

He is sired by the impressive Longford 004 and his Dam is a young cow bred at Lisheen who was sired by World K’s Michifuku out of a TF151 Sired cow who also has Itomichi 1/2 on her Dam side.   He is one of a number of young bulls that were specifically bred to infuse EMA, Marble Score and Marble fineness into their calves.   He has a Top 1% EBV for Marble Fineness and Top 10% EBV’s for EMA and Marble Score.   P3 also has an IG Tenderness result of 9 which further adds to his ability to infuse meat quality.
